Shopping tips

If you're new to furoshiki, here are some tips for choosing the right cloth:

Choosing size

For beginners, the 70×70 cm size is ideal as it's versatile. Later you can expand your collection with different sizes.

Choosing material

It's worth starting with cotton cloth – durable, easy to wash, and holds knots well. Later you can try other materials.

Patterns

Traditional Japanese patterns (seigaiha, asanoha, sakura) are timelessly elegant, but modern solid-color cloths are also popular.

Quality

Pay attention to the quality of seams and fabric thickness. A quality cloth will last for decades.
